The High Cost

of  Not Spaying or Neutering Pets

Please spread the word to pet owners about the high costs and disturbing situations they may encounter if they do not spay or neuter their animals:

A litter usually costs more than the price of spaying or neutering due to increased food consumption and the medical bills that often result.

Unaltered pets roam, get into fights, are hit by cars, eat foods that make them ill or are poisoned, get caught in traps, bring home diseases and become lost.  This leads to worry, wounds and expensive veterinary treatment.

Lost pets often end up on the streets where they multiply quickly, become hungry and diseased and usually die a cruel and untimely death.

Pets that have not been fixed are more prone to mammary and prostatic cancer thereby requiring expensive treatment.
